I bought a Salter kitchen scale in 2009. It stopped working properly due to a faulty on/off/zero switch.
After a couple of email exchanges with Salter customer service, I was promised a replacement. The 15 year guarantee really is a thing! Well done Salter. Thanks.

I like that it has 4 different options, the plates are removable, easy to clean, the waffles are pretty big, delivery was pretty quick and it was packaged well.
I didn't like that the instructions are poor/non existent, it cooks quicker in one part than the others, there's no guide for filling the waffles and could have done with a waffle mix recipe being included.

Dreadful product, dreadful company. I treated our household to 3 new frying pans before Christmas (my previous ones were nearly 5 years old). All 3 pans warped within two weeks of use. I emailed their customer services who said that i had probably overehated the frying pans and that negates the warranty. They didnt even ask for pans back to inspect. So arrogant. I have now bought Tefal ones and they are amazing, The Customer Services at Sainburys (where i bought them) said they have no end of people complainingh about Salter pans......AVOID!

I placed an order for something in stock. I then received an automated email saying it had been refunded with no explanation or cause. No communication at all.

Great product, a bit tricky to work out but I think I've got it sussed!

I had a problem with kitchen scales bought only 3 years ago and guaranteed for 15 years, sought advice from Salter and was answered the next day. Though their suggestion didn't work and the same happened again after I had emailed them a second time, I was speedily sent replacement scales even though unable to provide direct proof of purchase, the scales having been a gift. Throughout, Salter customer care was both efficient and courteous.

This product won't toast the top of any sandwiches, wraps or paninis. The inside of the sandwich gets hot, but the top stays pale and uncooked. We've only had it two weeks and we're very disappointed.

I purchased a Salter scale some years ago and as I recall, it stopped working a few months after purchase. I kept meaning to get in touch with Salter to repair it but never got round to it. Fast forward 6 years later and I saw it lying around so decided this time to get in touch with them and they were very helpful indeed. I was refunded after a very brief online chat! Fortunately I had the purchase receipt in box which was required. They really do keep to their 15 year guarantee!

Im disappointed as the weight displayed changes according to the surface in which the scale is set upon. I tried weighting myself in three different places: bedroom, bathroom and landing, only to see variations of 3 kilos.

I love the kettle, it’s shape and colour. But I already had one for a few months and it suddenly stopped working. I couldn’t find the guarantee. So I paid again.
When my replacement kettle arrived promptly I realised there IS no paper guarantee. You have to go online and manage a complicated form. I must do this. Sometime soon.

Good company to deal with.
Requested a new Air Fryer tray which was out of stock. Used the ‘email me when they are available’ and they did after a couple weeks.
Ordered & arrived within a few days perfectly packaged to avoid damage.

Great brand product at a reduced price I found it cheaper here than all other online sites

Great piece of kit. Makes great waffles and toasted wraps and paninis. My grandchildren love it. I will be buying one each for my two eldest grandchildren who are turning 13 soon.
